The story
BARLOCK sells shampoo and conditioner as solid bars: no plastic bottle, no water carried halfway round the world, and one bar lasts as long as two bottles. The front of the stand shows exactly that as thirty round bars set into the worktop in a neat grid, in colours that come from the ingredients.
The stand is backed against a mall wall, with the stock in a closed teal cabinet. The counter stays at 110 cm, and one slim teal tower of 60 × 15 × 210 cm carries the logo and five bars on tiny shelves, visible along the corridor.
Sand-coloured ash slats, deep teal and a terrazzo top give the kiosk the clean, sea-salt feel of a beach shower.
Manufacturing and materials
- Body: 18 mm moisture-resistant MDF clad in vertical ash slats (30 × 15 mm), matte water-based lacquer.
- Worktop: 20 mm terrazzo-look quartz composite with CNC-milled 8 mm deep bar cells.
- Logo band: deep-teal matte lacquer, white acrylic letters.
- Cubbies: 18 mm MDF lined with sand HPL.
- Tower: steel frame, teal lacquered MDF, 5 recessed solid-ash shelves.
- Back unit: teal lacquered carcass fixed to the wall frame, lockable doors.
- Base: adjustable steel feet, black plinth, IP65 cool-white LED.
Final dimensions are confirmed by on-site measurement before production. Mall height limits, electrical supply and fire regulations are checked with the centre’s technical office at project stage.
