The story
CURRENZA exchanges currency for travellers who remember at the last minute that they need cash for the airport taxi. Emerald and gold say money and trust at once, and the ring of chasing arrows around the C is the exchange itself.
The stand sits against a mall wall with its safe and drawers at the back. Everything stays at the 110 cm counter height, with the cash tray recessed into the worktop, and two emerald towers of 60 × 15 × 210 cm at the back corners carry the logo and a column of coloured discs that suggest the flags of the world's currencies without a single number.
Manufacturing and materials
- Body: 18 mm MDF, emerald high-gloss lacquer; gold coin circles as brushed-brass inlays.
- Worktop: 20 mm dark-grey sintered stone with a gold PVD edge profile.
- Cash tray: recessed stainless-steel transfer tray with a lockable cover.
- Safe: certified security safe bolted to the floor inside the back unit.
- Towers: steel frame, emerald lacquered MDF, gold edge profiles, gold acrylic letters and lacquered acrylic discs.
