The story
FIZZLAB sells science kits that let children grow crystals, build volcanoes and look at a drop of water under a microscope. The stand is a small bright laboratory against the mall wall: lab white, electric blue and a spark of orange, with three flasks of bubbling coloured water on the front counter to stop passing children in their tracks.
The wall unit holds the stock in closed cupboards below and the full range of kits on open shelves above, around a glowing panel of molecules and a ringed planet. The crown stays within the 220 cm limit and runs from two slim front columns to the wall unit, showing the name to the front and both sides.
The left side is for looking closer — microscopes and magnifiers — and the right side for looking further, with a telescope on a low plinth.
Manufacturing and materials
- Wall unit: 18 mm white HPL-faced board on a steel sub-frame fixed to the mall wall; backlit printed fabric panel in an aluminium frame.
- Demo counter: 18 mm MDF in electric-blue lacquer with a white UV-printed line drawing; 10 mm clear acrylic tray.
- Bubble flasks: sealed borosilicate flasks with coloured water, silent air pumps and LED bases hidden in the counter.
- Columns: Ø 100 mm steel tubes, steel-grey powder coat.
- Crown: 20 × 16 cm aluminium section, white; blue acrylic letters; orange line.

Final dimensions are confirmed by on-site measurement before production. Mall height limits, electrical supply and fire regulations are checked with the centre’s technical office at project stage.
