The story
FRAMORY turns the photos stuck in people's phones into things they can hold: prints, framed canvases, mugs and cushions. Customers send their photos to one of two touchscreens at the front, and the printers in the back unit have the prints ready in minutes.
Backed against a mall wall, the stand hides all printers and stock in a birch unit at the back. The counter stays at a flat 110 cm, and two yellow towers of 60 × 15 × 210 cm at the back corners carry the logo and a column of photo frames, visible from along the corridor.
The left side has no showcase, so it carries a large collage of instant photos. It shows the product before anyone reads the name. Navy and sunflower yellow keep the look cheerful and clear.
Manufacturing and materials
- Counter body: 18 mm MDF, navy matte lacquer; white lacquered logo band with navy acrylic letters.
- Worktop: 30 mm birch plywood with clear hard lacquer, CNC-cut recesses for the screens and terminal.
- Photo stations: two 22" capacitive touchscreens behind 4 mm tempered glass, tilted 20°, with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth upload.
- Showcases: 8 mm tempered glass, birch shelves, 4000K LED.
- Graphics: UV-printed collage on 5 mm acrylic with a matte laminate.
- Back unit: birch plywood shelving with ventilated bays for two dye-sublimation printers and a mug press.
- Towers: steel frame, yellow lacquered MDF, printed acrylic photo frames.
Final dimensions are confirmed by on-site measurement before production. Mall height limits, electrical supply and fire regulations are checked with the centre’s technical office at project stage.
