The story
GLIMMO sells costume jewellery that is fun to change every day: big earrings, stackable rings, layered necklaces and hair clips at prices that invite a second piece. The stand is glossy white with a hot-magenta band and a single magenta tower in the middle, like a jewellery box with its lid open.
The island keeps a flat 110 cm worktop, and every piece lies under glass set into the top. A single tower of 60 × 15 × 210 cm stands in the centre of the staff area and shows twelve pairs of statement earrings on each face, so the stand sparkles from both long sides of the corridor.
Three sides are showcases. The staff side at the back has two large glittering-crystal images instead. The magenta logo band runs around all four sides.
Manufacturing and materials
- Body: 18 mm MDF, glossy white lacquer; rounded corners in bent plywood.
- Logo band: hot-magenta lacquer, white acrylic letters with a silver edge.
- Worktop: 12 mm lilac solid-surface, seamless on the corners.
- Showcases: flush 8 mm laminated glass lids with locks and alarm contacts; 5000K LED for sparkle.
- Tower: steel frame, magenta lacquered MDF, polished stainless-steel edge strips and hooks.
- Graphics: backlit fabric prints in slim aluminium frames.
- Base: adjustable feet, recessed white plinth, magenta LED.
Final dimensions are confirmed by on-site measurement before production. Mall height limits, electrical supply and fire regulations are checked with the centre’s technical office at project stage.
