The story
HOVRA sells folding camera drones to people who want to see their own city, beach or hiking trail from above. The stand is light and airy: graphite and white with a sky-blue line, and a real drone hanging in the middle as if it had just taken off.
Each of the four sides has one job. The front shows the six drones in the range, the left side carries everything needed for a longer flight, and the right side lets customers hold an unfolded drone and see its live camera on a tablet. The back is the payment point. Where there is no showcase, the counter face carries a large aerial photograph of a coastline, which shows what a drone is for.
The crown stays within the 220 cm limit, is only 20 cm high and shows the HOVRA name on all four sides. The slim 10 cm columns keep the view across the concourse open.
Manufacturing and materials
- Body: 18 mm MDF in graphite matte lacquer; white 12 mm solid-surface tops with rounded edges.
- Columns: Ø 100 mm aluminium tubes, brushed graphite anodised finish, cables routed inside.
- Crown: 20 × 16 cm aluminium box section, white powder coat; graphite acrylic letters; sky-blue LED line.
- Showcases: 10 mm laminated glass tops with lockable sliding panels; 5000K LED strips; white foam product plinths.
- Graphics: UV-printed aerial photographs on aluminium composite panels with a matte anti-scratch laminate.
- Hanging drone: display drone with batteries removed, fixed on two Ø 2 mm steel wires with safety clamps to the crown frame.
- Services: 16 A power line; charging sockets for the tablet and the demo controllers inside the counters.
- Base: adjustable steel feet, recessed graphite plinth, signal-orange IP65 LED line.
Final dimensions are confirmed by on-site measurement before production. Mall height limits, electrical supply and fire regulations are checked with the centre’s technical office at project stage.
