The story
TASBIRA sells prayer rugs and prayer beads, the objects many families give as gifts for a pilgrimage, a new home or the holy months. The stand is designed to be quiet in a loud place: forest green, sand gold, cream and warm walnut, with soft light and no strong graphics.
Prayer rugs are bought by their weave and colour, so the front table holds stacked rugs with two laid open to show the arch pattern. Prayer beads in wood, stone and amber lie in lines in the left showcase, and the right and back sides hold travel mats, gift boxes and the till. The crown shows the name on all four sides and stays within 220 cm.
The sides without products show an arch window with light falling through it. The stand uses no calligraphy or script, only the brand name and slogan.
Manufacturing and materials
- Columns: Ø 100 mm solid walnut columns on steel cores, matte oil finish.
- Tables and counters: walnut-veneered 18 mm MDF with a hard-wax oil finish.
- Crown: 20 × 17 cm aluminium section, forest-green lacquer, sand-gold acrylic letters.
- Showcase: 8 mm tempered glass top with a lockable sliding back; cream felt bed; 3000K LED.
- Graphics: backlit fabric prints in recessed walnut frames.
- Floor: 6 mm cream needle-felt carpet with aluminium edge trim.
Final dimensions are confirmed by on-site measurement before production. Mall height limits, electrical supply and fire regulations are checked with the centre’s technical office at project stage.
