The story
TICKR sells fashion and smart watches and fixes the small things that go wrong with them: a new strap, a battery, a bracelet link. The stand stands on the gallery balcony and uses graphite, brushed steel and a single burnt-orange line, and it has a real clock on the crown that shoppers can check as they pass.
The back faces the railing and holds the drawers. The three customer sides each have a clear role: the main watch showcase at the front, smart watches and a colourful strap wall on the left, and a small watchmaker's bench on the right where the customer can watch the service being done. The crown is 20 cm and the stand stays within 220 cm overall.
Manufacturing and materials
- Columns: 20 × 4 cm solid steel flats, brushed finish, clear lacquer.
- Body: 18 mm MDF, graphite matte lacquer; burnt-orange lacquered aluminium inlay.
- Showcases: 10 mm laminated glass tops with locks; 5000K LED for metal and glass.
- Crown: 20 × 16 cm aluminium section, graphite; brushed-silver acrylic letters; battery-free wall clock movement powered from the crown line.
- Strap panel: graphite felt panel with stainless-steel pegs.
- Service counter: ESD watchmaker's mat, LED magnifier lamp, lockable tool drawer.
Final dimensions are confirmed by on-site measurement before production. Mall height limits, electrical supply and fire regulations are checked with the centre’s technical office at project stage.
