The story
VELLORA sells silk scarves and soft shawls that turn a plain outfit into something considered. The stand is a small plum-and-gold pavilion in the middle of the mall, with a crown that carries the name on all four sides and slim gold columns that keep it light and open.
Each side has one job. The front is the main showcase, with two display busts wearing scarves so shoppers can see how they drape. The left side has a rail of ten solid colours to choose from, the right side holds the shawls, and the back side is where the gift boxes are wrapped. The crown is 20 cm high and the stand stays within the 220 cm limit.
Ivory counters and a rippling-silk graphic on the plain faces keep the look soft and let the colours of the scarves stand out.
Manufacturing and materials
- Counters: 18 mm MDF carcass, ivory satin lacquer; 30 mm plum-lacquered tops with rounded edges.
- Columns: Ø 100 mm steel tubes with an antique-gold brushed PVD finish; cables run inside.
- Crown: 20 × 16 cm aluminium box section, plum lacquer, brushed antique-gold acrylic letters.
- Showcases: 8 mm tempered glass tops with lockable sliding panels; high-CRI 3500K LED for true silk colour.
- Scarf rail: Ø 20 mm solid brass rail on two 12 mm posts, bolted through the worktop.
- Graphics: UV-printed fabric panels in tensioned aluminium frames, easy to change for each season.
- Busts: fibreglass head-and-shoulder forms, ivory matte finish, fixed with a hidden pin.
Final dimensions are confirmed by on-site measurement before production. Mall height limits, electrical supply and fire regulations are checked with the centre’s technical office at project stage.
