The story
AQUELLA helps families set up their first aquarium, from the tank and filter to the plants and the fish. The stand is built around water: its four slim columns are clear tubes of rising bubbles, and a large planted aquarium full of small tropical fish fills the front.
The island has four clear roles. The front shows what a finished aquarium looks like, the left side sells starter tanks and equipment, the right side shows twelve small tanks of fish to choose from, and the back is the payment point with a coral-reef graphic. The deep-blue crown stays within the 220 cm limit and repeats the name on all four sides.
Manufacturing and materials
- Aquarium: 10 mm low-iron glass tank with silicone joints, external canister filter, heater and LED plant light hidden in the cabinet.
- Small tanks: 12 rimless 20-litre glass tanks on a central life-support system with filtration and temperature control.
- Columns: Ø 120 mm cast acrylic tubes, sealed, with silent air pumps and aqua LED in the base.
- Crown: 20 × 18 cm aluminium box section, deep-blue powder coat; pearl-white acrylic letters.
- Cabinets and counters: 18 mm moisture-resistant MDF in deep-blue lacquer with sealed edges; 8 mm tempered glass top.
- Graphic: UV-printed coral reef on aluminium composite panel.
- Services: 16 A power line, water supply and drain through the floor for water changes.
Final dimensions are confirmed by on-site measurement before production. Mall height limits, electrical supply and fire regulations are checked with the centre’s technical office at project stage.
