The story
CACAVO is a small chocolatier that works in front of its customers. On one side of the stand chocolate is tempered and fresh strawberries are dipped by hand, and a refrigerated showcase at the front holds two long rows of pralines and truffles made that morning.
The island is open on all four sides and each side has a job: tasting and buying pralines at the front, gift boxes on the right, the dipping station on the left, paying and wrapping at the back. The crown is exactly 20 cm high, the stand stays within 220 cm overall, and the four slim columns keep it light in the middle of the concourse.
Cocoa brown and pistachio green with antique gold give it the feel of a European confiserie. The logo repeats on all four crown faces, and the two sides without a showcase carry chocolate and cacao imagery.
Manufacturing and materials
- Body: 18 mm MDF, cocoa-brown matte lacquer; antique-gold aluminium edge profiles.
- Tops: 12 mm cream sintered stone, stain-resistant and food-safe.
- Praline showcase: refrigerated display at 14–16 °C with controlled humidity, 8 mm double-glazed heated front glass against condensation, 3000K LED.
- Gift showcase: 8 mm tempered glass top with lockable rear doors.
- Columns: 120 × 120 mm steel box sections, cocoa powder coat, gold edge trims; cables routed inside.
- Crown: 20 × 17 cm aluminium box section, pistachio lacquer, brushed antique-gold acrylic letters.
- Services: 16 A power line for the showcase and tempering machine; hand-wash unit with 20-litre fresh and grey-water tanks in the back counter.
- Base: adjustable steel feet, cocoa plinth, IP65 warm-white LED.
Final dimensions are confirmed by on-site measurement before production. Mall height limits, electrical supply and fire regulations are checked with the centre’s technical office at project stage.
