The story
CAPSTACK is a cap and hat bar where customers try on a cap at the mirror and walk away with their initials embroidered on it a few minutes later. The stand is laid out as a loop: caps at the front, bucket hats and beanies at the back, the mirror on one side and the embroidery machine on the other.
The whole kiosk stays at the 110 cm counter height. Two orange towers of 60 × 15 × 210 cm stand on diagonally opposite corners, never one per side, so the brand and a column of real caps can be seen from both directions of the concourse without walling the stand in.
Denim navy, safety orange and a grey concrete finish give it a streetwear feel. The two sides without a showcase carry large stitching and cap graphics, and the logo band runs around all four sides.
Manufacturing and materials
- Counter body: 18 mm MDF carcass with a concrete-look micro-cement finish, sealed matte.
- Logo band: denim-navy matte lacquer; white acrylic letters, 5 mm, with orange acrylic cap icon.
- Worktop: 12 mm white solid-surface on a 30 mm substrate.
- Showcase: 8 mm tempered glass front with lockable rear doors, glass shelves, 4000K LED.
- Towers: 40 × 40 mm steel box frames bolted to the counter structure, orange lacquered MDF, stainless-steel cap pegs with anti-theft clips.
- Side graphics: UV print on 3 mm aluminium composite with anti-scratch laminate.
- Services: 16 A power line for the embroidery machine and lighting; hidden cable ducts through the plinth.
Final dimensions are confirmed by on-site measurement before production. Mall height limits, electrical supply and fire regulations are checked with the centre’s technical office at project stage.
