The story
SADDLO makes leather bags and wallets that are meant to age with their owner. The stand borrows from a saddler's workshop: cognac leather, dark espresso wood, blackened steel and a visible stitch line that runs along the crown and around the counter.
Backed against the mall wall, the stand uses its back as closed storage with two open shelves of handbags above it, so the rear of the stand is both stock room and backdrop. The front counter holds wallets and a small embossing press where initials are stamped while the customer waits.
The crown is exactly 20 cm high and the stand stays within the 220 cm limit on four slim 10 cm steel columns. The logo sits on all three customer faces of the crown, and the open bag side carries a leather-craft image in place of a showcase.
Manufacturing and materials
- Body: 18 mm MDF carcass, espresso-brown stained oak veneer, matte lacquer.
- Leather panels: vegetable-tanned cognac leather, 2 mm, wrapped on 12 mm plywood, saddle-stitched with off-white waxed thread.
- Showcases: 10 mm laminated safety glass tops with concealed locks; 3500K high-CRI LED for true leather colour.
- Columns and rails: 100 × 100 mm steel box sections and Ø 30 mm rails, blackened-steel finish, clear wax seal.
- Crown: 20 × 18 cm aluminium box section clad in leather-look PU, embroidered-look stitch line, off-white acrylic letters.
- Back unit: espresso oak-veneer cabinet with soft-close drawers, anchored to the wall frame with anti-tip brackets.
- Services: 16 A power line for lighting and the heated embossing press.
Final dimensions are confirmed by on-site measurement before production. Mall height limits, electrical supply and fire regulations are checked with the centre’s technical office at project stage.
