The story
DRIVIQ is a quick stop for drivers: a new phone holder, a dash camera or a charger picked up on the way back to the car park. The stand looks like part of a car: carbon-fibre black with a racing-orange band, and a tyre-tread pattern on the front.
The island stays at the 110 cm counter height, and two towers of 60 × 15 × 210 cm stand at the two ends. Each shows the brand and four real accessories to both long sides, so the product can be seen from well down the corridor.
The ends of the counter carry simple line drawings of a mountain road and a car, and the right side has open scent pots so customers can choose an air freshener by smell.
Manufacturing and materials
- Body: 18 mm MDF wrapped in a carbon-fibre-look vinyl film; racing-orange lacquered logo band with white acrylic letters.
- Front relief: CNC-milled MDF tyre-tread pattern, black textured paint.
- Worktop: 12 mm steel-grey solid surface on a 30 mm substrate.
- Showcases: flush-set 8 mm tempered glass lids with locks, 6000K LED.
- Towers: steel box frame, black lacquered MDF, orange aluminium edge profiles; accessories on locking stainless-steel pegs.
- Graphics: line art printed on black HPL, no text.
- Services: 16 A power line with USB test points for chargers.
Final dimensions are confirmed by on-site measurement before production. Mall height limits, electrical supply and fire regulations are checked with the centre’s technical office at project stage.
