The story
DRIZZLO sells umbrellas and raincoats that make a grey day a little brighter. The stand is placed at the gallery balcony, and a row of five open umbrellas under its yellow crown can be seen from the floors below like bright spots of colour.
The back of the stand faces the railing and is a closed storage cabinet. The customer sides each show one product family: folded compact umbrellas at the front, two mannequins in raincoats on the left and a bin of long stick umbrellas on the right. The crown is 20 cm high and the whole stand stays within 220 cm.
Sunshine yellow, slate blue and white keep the colours simple, and the raindrops-on-glass graphic tells the story without a single word.
Manufacturing and materials
- Body: 18 mm MDF, white satin lacquer; rain lines CNC-cut and filled with slate lacquer.
- Columns: 100 × 100 mm steel box sections, slate powder coat; cables inside.
- Crown: 20 × 15 cm aluminium section, sunshine-yellow lacquer, slate acrylic letters.
- Umbrella display: open umbrellas fixed to a steel rail inside the crown beam with safety cables.
- Umbrella bin: brushed stainless-steel drum with a drip tray and drain plug.
- Platform and graphics: slate HPL platform; UV-printed raindrop graphics on acrylic.
- Mannequins: headless white fibreglass forms with floor fixing pins.
Final dimensions are confirmed by on-site measurement before production. Mall height limits, electrical supply and fire regulations are checked with the centre’s technical office at project stage.
