The story
HONEVA sells good kitchen knives and keeps them sharp. Shoppers can drop off a dull knife at the right-hand bench, finish their shopping and collect it with a fresh edge. The sharpening is done in full view on whetstones and a slow wet-grinder, which is the best advert the brand has.
The stand is backed against a mall wall, so all the stock sits in lockable drawers at the back. At the front, eighteen knives lie under glass, and on the left there is a cutting board where customers can try a blade on real vegetables. The crown is 20 cm high and the stand stays within 220 cm overall on four slim steel columns.
Slate, raw steel and oiled olive wood keep the look honest and workshop-like, much like a good knife.

Final dimensions are confirmed by on-site measurement before production. Mall height limits, electrical supply and fire regulations are checked with the centre’s technical office at project stage.
