The story
LUMA sells fine jewellery that is meant to be worn every day, not locked in a drawer. The stand works like a small lantern on the gallery floor: navy and champagne gold, lit from within, and placed right at the balcony so it can be seen from the floors below.
The back of the stand faces the balcony railing, so it is closed and used for storage, a mirror and the engraving machine. The three customer sides are fully glazed. The crown stays within the 220 cm limit and is only 20 cm high, and the slim gold columns keep the view across the atrium open.
Seven small pendant lights hang between the front columns and give the showcase a jeweller's glow. Every customer side shows the LUMA name on the crown.
Manufacturing and materials
- Body: 18 mm MDF, deep navy high-gloss lacquer.
- Tops: 12 mm sintered stone with a Carrara marble look, polished edges.
- Showcases: 10 mm laminated safety glass with lockable sliding panels; navy velvet trays; high-CRI 4000K LED strips for true metal colour.
- Columns: Ø 120 mm steel tubes with champagne-gold PVD finish; cables routed inside.
- Crown: 20 × 16 cm aluminium box section, navy lacquer, brushed champagne acrylic letters.
- Pendants: seven Ø 12 cm brushed-brass LED pendants on an adjustable bar.
- Security: laminated glass, concealed locks and an alarm contact on every showcase.
Final dimensions are confirmed by on-site measurement before production. Mall height limits, electrical supply and fire regulations are checked with the centre’s technical office at project stage.
