The story
NEXO answers the three things people look for when they walk through a mall with their phone: a new phone, the right accessory and a screen protector fitted in five minutes. The stand is therefore both a showroom and a small service counter.
Whichever direction customers come from, they see the brand: the slim 20 cm crown carries the NEXO logo on all four sides. From the front, phones sit at eye level on sloping glass counters. From the sides, glass-top cabinets hold cases and headphones. From the back, a portrait digital screen in the central column plays the brand's campaigns, so even the staff side of the stand is never dead space.
The signal orange comes from the notification dot in the logo. An orange LED line at floor level makes the kiosk stand out in the atrium in the evening. The overall height is kept to the 220 cm limit set by mall management, and the thin crown and open sides keep the neighbouring shops in view.
Manufacturing and materials
- Carcass and columns: 18 mm MDF, CNC-cut; primer plus two coats of high-gloss white polyurethane lacquer; crown edges and trims in matte charcoal lacquer.
- Crown: 20 cm high, 18 cm deep box section; CNC-cut acrylic letters with LED backlighting on all four faces.
- Showcases: 8 mm tempered glass; stepped 6 mm glass shelves in the sloping front counters; 3000K LED profiles under each shelf.
- Column niches: Recessed glass niches with 6 mm glass shelves and concealed LED.
- Central column: Aluminium-framed slatwall with metal hooks on the front; 55-inch portrait digital screen on the back with a ventilated frame and service hatch.
- Base: 10 cm steel frame with charcoal cladding; IP65 orange LED strip.
- Back counters: Lockable drawers, cable ducts and built-in sockets for the card terminals.
- Installation: Modular, bolted sections sized for night-time installation in a mall.
Final dimensions are confirmed by on-site measurement before production. Mall height limits, electrical supply and fire regulations are checked with the centre’s technical office at project stage.
