The story
OPTICA NOVA turns a stretch of mall wall into a bright little optician. Because the stand is backed against the wall, the whole back becomes the product: a lit ash wall with about 120 frames at eye level and a large round mirror in the middle.
The front stays open, with a low counter for fitting and payment. The left side is a quick eye-test corner and the right side a showcase for premium frames. The crown stays within the 220 cm limit, runs from the two slim front columns to the wall unit and shows the brand to all three customer sides.
White, ash wood and a single teal accent keep the look clinical but warm.
Manufacturing and materials
- Wall unit: 25 mm ash-veneered panels on a steel sub-frame fixed to the mall wall; 8 mm white acrylic frame rails; 4000K backlight LED panels.
- Counters and showcase: 18 mm MDF in white matte lacquer; ash-veneer tops; 8 mm tempered glass on the showcase.
- Columns: Ø 100 mm steel tubes, charcoal powder coat.
- Crown: 20 × 17 cm aluminium section, white; charcoal acrylic letters.
- Mirrors: 5 mm silver mirrors with polished edges.
- Equipment: power and data for the auto-refractor and the tablet stand.
Final dimensions are confirmed by on-site measurement before production. Mall height limits, electrical supply and fire regulations are checked with the centre’s technical office at project stage.
