The story
POSEPOD brings back the photo-booth moment: a curtain, four flashes and a strip of pictures in your hand thirty seconds later. The stand is a small black cabin under a hot-pink crown lined with glowing marquee bulbs, a piece of fairground fun in the middle of the mall.
At the front, friends pick props and pay; the cabin entrance with its velvet curtain is on the right, with a bench for the next group. The left and back walls of the cabin carry big film-strip and flash graphics, so the stand looks lively from every side. The crown is 20 cm high and the stand stays within 220 cm overall.
Manufacturing and materials
- Cabin: steel frame with 18 mm MDF walls in black matte lacquer, acoustic lining inside, ventilation fan in the ceiling.
- Camera system: DSLR-type camera behind a 22" screen, soft-box LED light, dye-sublimation printer with 2-second strip output.
- Curtain: hot-pink cotton velvet, fire-rated, on a concealed ceiling track.
- Crown: 20 × 16 cm aluminium box, pink lacquer, white acrylic letters, 2 W warm-white LED marquee bulbs on dimmable drivers.
- Counter: 18 mm MDF, white lacquer, black compact-laminate top; 8 mm tempered glass on the showcase.
- Graphics: UV-printed matte vinyl on the cabin walls, anti-scratch laminate.
- Services: 16 A power line and network for digital sharing of the photos.
Final dimensions are confirmed by on-site measurement before production. Mall height limits, electrical supply and fire regulations are checked with the centre’s technical office at project stage.
