The story
SATCHLY opens in the mall for the last weeks of summer, when families come in with a school list and a child who wants the brightest backpack on the shelf. It sells everything for the first day: backpacks, pencil cases, lunch boxes, notebooks, pencils and geometry sets.
The kiosk is painted in the colours of a school bus and a chalkboard: yellow, navy, green and white. It stays at the 110 cm counter height, which is also a good height for children to see the goods, and two yellow towers of 60 × 15 × 210 cm at the back corners carry the logo for parents looking across the concourse.
Backpacks sit in cubbies in the counter faces rather than hanging high, so the whole stand stays low and easy to shop from every side.
