The story
SHADEBAR is a sunglasses bar for fashion, not prescriptions: a place to try ten pairs in two minutes and walk away with the one that suits the season. The stand borrows its colours from a summer beach bar, with sand beige, tangerine and ink black.
A sunglasses stand needs mirrors, and mirrors usually mean tall furniture. Here the mirrors are built into the two towers, which stand at opposite corners and stay within 60 × 15 × 210 cm. Everything else stays at the 110 cm counter height. The frames sit in sloping glass trays inside the counter, where they can be seen at a glance and are protected from knocks.
The two short ends have no showcases. They carry a large sunlit beach image instead, so the stand says 'summer' to shoppers coming down the corridor from either direction.
Manufacturing and materials

- Worktop: 12 mm white solid-surface on a 18 mm substrate, routed for flush glass trays.

Final dimensions are confirmed by on-site measurement before production. Mall height limits, electrical supply and fire regulations are checked with the centre’s technical office at project stage.
