The story
NACRELLE is named after nacre, the mother-of-pearl that an oyster lays down layer by layer. The brand sells pearl jewellery and restrings old necklaces, and the stand is designed like a quiet piece of seabed: deep teal, pearl white and a soft wave relief along the counters.
The stand backs onto a mall wall, so the whole back is a closed cabinet for stock and tools, with an oval mirror on top. Customers use the front and the left side to browse, and on the right side they can watch a necklace being knotted at the stringing bench. The crown is 20 cm high and only 15 cm thick, and the 8 cm columns keep the stand light.
Where there is no showcase, an image of an open oyster with a single pearl tells the story from a distance.
Manufacturing and materials
- Body: 18 mm MDF, deep teal satin lacquer; CNC-milled wave relief panels in pearl-white pearlescent lacquer.
- Tops: 12 mm white solid-surface with a soft pearl sheen.
- Showcases: 10 mm laminated safety glass with lockable sliding panels; blush velvet beds; 4000K high-CRI LED so pearl lustre reads true.
- Columns: Ø 80 mm steel tubes, brushed-nickel finish.
- Crown: 20 × 15 cm aluminium section, teal lacquer, pearl-white acrylic letters.
- Stringing bench: felt work mat, flocked bead board, LED task lamp with dimmer.
- Back cabinet: lockable drawers with felt-lined trays; anti-tip fixing to the wall frame.
Final dimensions are confirmed by on-site measurement before production. Mall height limits, electrical supply and fire regulations are checked with the centre’s technical office at project stage.
