The story
SPOKKA sells city bicycles and everything needed to ride them safely to work, school or the park. The stand borrows its colours from the street: asphalt grey, a white bike-lane line and signal yellow, with a logo whose O is a spoked wheel.
Bicycles are too big for a counter stand, so SPOKKA is a crowned island with the bikes standing low on a platform in the middle, side-on to the corridor so their frames read clearly. Three sides carry counters for helmets, lights, locks and bags; the fourth side is open behind a low curb.
The right side has no showcase and carries a chain-and-gear graphic instead. The yellow crown stays within the 220 cm limit and shows the name on all four sides.
Manufacturing and materials
- Platform: steel frame with 18 mm plywood deck, asphalt-grey anti-slip vinyl with a printed white dashed line.
- Bike stands: powder-coated steel floor stands with rubber-padded wheel slots.
- Columns: Ø 100 mm steel tubes, asphalt-grey powder coat.
- Crown: 20 × 18 cm aluminium box section, signal-yellow powder coat; black acrylic letters.
- Counters: 18 mm MDF in grey lacquer; 8 mm tempered glass tops, lockable; 5000K LED.
- Graphic: UV-printed chain-and-gear drawing on aluminium composite panel.
- Base: adjustable feet, grey plinth, yellow IP65 LED line; 16 A power line.
Final dimensions are confirmed by on-site measurement before production. Mall height limits, electrical supply and fire regulations are checked with the centre’s technical office at project stage.
