The story
STITCHLY is a tailor for the trousers you just bought that are two centimetres too long. The stand turns a stretch of mall wall into a small workshop: a colourful wall of 120 thread spools, a tall mirror and shelves of fabric behind a counter where the sewing machine works in plain sight.
The left side is a fitting cubicle with a navy curtain, the right side shows a jacket in progress on a mannequin next to the pick-up rail. Two slim mustard columns carry a navy crown with a stitched line, 20 cm high, and the stand stays within the 220 cm limit.
Navy, mustard, cream and natural linen give the feel of a classic tailor's shop, made compact enough for the concourse.
Manufacturing and materials
- Wall unit: 18 mm MDF in navy matte lacquer on a steel sub-frame fixed to the wall; beech pegs for the thread wall.
- Counter: navy lacquered MDF frames with natural linen panels behind clear protective film; 20 mm oak top.
- Mirror: 5 mm safety-backed silver mirror in a mustard lacquered frame.
- Fitting cubicle: steel curtain rail fixed between the wall unit and the crown; heavy navy cotton curtain, fire-rated.
- Columns: Ø 100 mm steel tubes, mustard powder coat.
- Crown: 20 × 16 cm aluminium section, navy; cream acrylic letters; the stitch line as mustard vinyl dashes.
- Services: 16 A power line for the sewing machine and steam iron, hidden in the counter.
Final dimensions are confirmed by on-site measurement before production. Mall height limits, electrical supply and fire regulations are checked with the centre’s technical office at project stage.
