The story
FIXORA repairs phones in front of their owners. Most people do not want to leave their phone behind for a day, so the stand puts the technician's bench under a flush glass panel in the counter, where the customer can watch the screen being replaced while waiting on a stool.
The stand sits against the balcony railing with its parts drawers at the back. The customer sides stay at 110 cm, and two electric-blue towers of 60 × 15 × 210 cm at the back corners carry the logo towards the atrium and the floors below.
Electric blue and lime give a clean, technical look; the cracked-screen-turning-whole graphic on the front tells the whole service in one picture.
Manufacturing and materials
- Body: 18 mm MDF, electric-blue matte lacquer; white logo band with raised blue acrylic letters.
- Worktop: 12 mm graphite compact laminate, chemical and heat resistant.
- Repair bench: sunken ESD mat and tool rail, 10 mm laminated glass viewing panel with a lockable hinge, 5000K LED.
- Equipment: fume extractor with carbon filter, heat pad, magnifier lamp and screwdriver set, all on ESD-safe earthing.
- Towers: steel frame, blue lacquered MDF, white and lime acrylic cut-outs.
- Back unit: graphite HPL cabinet with 30 small lockable parts drawers.
- Services: 16 A power line with an earthed ESD point, network for the tablet.
Final dimensions are confirmed by on-site measurement before production. Mall height limits, electrical supply and fire regulations are checked with the centre’s technical office at project stage.
