The story
TRAVORA is for the traveller who remembers on the way to the airport what is missing from the bag: an adapter, a luggage tag, a neck pillow, or a better cabin suitcase. The stand looks like a small departure gate, with midnight teal and amber taken from airport signage, cognac leather tops and brushed aluminium like a good suitcase frame.
The front is kept low on purpose. Three cabin suitcases stand on a 40 cm podium where people can roll them, lift them and test the handles, while the two sides are lit showcases for the small accessories. The back is a closed counter for payment and weighing, and its face shows a world map with a dotted flight path, so it advertises the brand instead of being a blank panel.
The stand is 220 cm tall overall. The crown is 20 cm high and 18 cm thick and sits on four slim 10 × 10 cm columns, which keeps the view across the concourse open. TRAVORA is shown on all four faces of the crown.
Manufacturing and materials
- Body: 18 mm MDF, midnight-teal matte lacquer; amber lacquered aluminium inlay lines.
- Tops: 12 mm MDF wrapped in cognac leather-look PU with stitched edges, on a 25 mm substrate.
- Showcases: 8 mm tempered glass tops with lockable sliding back panels; 4000K LED strips.
- Columns: 10 × 10 cm aluminium square tubes, brushed and clear-anodised; cables routed inside.
- Crown: 20 × 18 cm aluminium box section, teal lacquer, white acrylic letters with a compass icon in amber acrylic.
- Podium: plywood frame with a 20 mm anti-slip top, rated for 150 kg; suitcases secured with hidden cable locks.
- Back graphic: amber vinyl line print on the teal lacquer, sealed with a matte anti-scratch laminate.
- Services: 16 A power line through the plinth for the showcase LEDs, the terminal and the scale.
Final dimensions are confirmed by on-site measurement before production. Mall height limits, electrical supply and fire regulations are checked with the centre’s technical office at project stage.
