The story
FLUFFINO sells one thing and makes a show of it: sugar turned into clouds while you wait. The stand sits on the gallery balcony, so the pastel colours can be seen from the floors below, and children can watch the candy grow around the stick at the front.
Both spinning bowls are sunk into the counter so the kiosk stays at a clean 110 cm, with nothing sticking up except one slim tower of 60 × 15 × 210 cm at the back-left corner. The back faces the railing and holds all the sugar stock and a hand-wash sink.
The sides without equipment carry soft cloud and swirl graphics, and the FLUFFINO name runs along the blue band on every customer side.
Manufacturing and materials
- Body: 18 mm MDF, white high-gloss lacquer; pastel-pink lacquered wave band cut on a CNC router.
- Worktop: 12 mm white solid-surface, food-safe, with thermoformed round wells for the bowls.
- Spinning units: two commercial cotton-candy heads built into the counter, stainless bowls, with an anti-splash well lining.
- Sneeze guards: 10 mm clear cast-acrylic lids on stainless piano hinges, flush with the worktop when closed.
- Back cabinet: white HPL carcass with sugar drawers; stainless hand-wash sink, under-sink water heater, fresh-water and sealed waste tanks.
- Tower: steel box frame, baby-blue lacquered MDF, printed acrylic illustration panel.
- Services: 16 A power line; hidden cable ducts; brushed-silver plinth with IP65 LED.
Final dimensions are confirmed by on-site measurement before production. Mall height limits, electrical supply and fire regulations are checked with the centre’s technical office at project stage.
