The story
HIVORA sells honey straight from its beekeepers, and the stand is built like a hive: a square island clad in raised oak hexagons under a charcoal crown with a thin line of amber light. The logo turns the O into a honeycomb cell with a bee inside.
Each side has a clear role. The front shows the three shades of honey and real comb frames, the left lets customers taste six honeys from glass dispensers under a sneeze guard, the right stacks the jars high, and the back is for paying. The crown stays within the 220 cm limit on four slim hexagonal columns.
Tasting is done cleanly, with single-use wooden sticks, a lidded bin and a hand-wash sink for the staff built into the back counter.
Manufacturing and materials
- Counters: 18 mm MDF carcass clad in CNC-cut solid-oak hexagon tiles (12 cm across), matte oil finish.
- Tops: 12 mm beeswax-cream solid-surface, food-safe, seamless joints.
- Showcase: 8 mm tempered-glass top, lockable, warm 3000K LED to show the honey colour.
- Tasting station: 6 borosilicate glass dispensers with stainless taps; 6 mm tempered-glass sneeze-guard hood on stainless posts.
- Columns and crown: 10 cm hexagonal steel profiles in charcoal powder coat; 20 × 18 cm aluminium crown with amber acrylic letters and an amber LED line.
- Hygiene: stainless hand-wash sink with instant water heater; water and drain through the mall floor box.
- Graphics: printed panels under a matte anti-scratch laminate, set into the oak tiles.
Final dimensions are confirmed by on-site measurement before production. Mall height limits, electrical supply and fire regulations are checked with the centre’s technical office at project stage.
