The story
OLIVESSA is an olive oil house with a small deli attached. Customers taste the oils on the left side, pick olives, cheeses and spreads from the refrigerated case at the front, and take a bottle home from the walnut shelves at the back.
The stand is backed against a mall wall, so the bottle stock and the hand-wash sink sit in the shelving at the back. The deli case is built into the counter and the tasting containers sit in a sunken well, so the kiosk stays at 110 cm. A single olive-green tower of 60 × 15 × 210 cm carries the brand.
Olive green, stone beige, terracotta bowls and dark walnut give it the calm look of a Mediterranean grocery.
Manufacturing and materials
- Body: 18 mm moisture-resistant MDF carcass, solid walnut slats (40 × 20 mm) with a matte oil finish; olive-green lacquered logo band with raised beige acrylic letters.
- Worktop: 20 mm stone-beige quartz, food-safe, oil-resistant, with sunken stainless wells.
- Deli case: built-in refrigerated serve-over case at +2/+4 °C, 8 mm tempered slanted glass, LED lighting, condensing unit vented through the counter side.
- Tasting point: 4 stainless fusti with taps; 8 mm tempered-glass sneeze-guard cover on stainless hinges; drip tray.
- Back unit: walnut-veneered shelving fixed to the wall frame with bottle lips; stainless hand-wash sink with hot water, drain through the wall.
