The story
KARDAMO is a spice market stall reduced to its essentials. Twenty-four open colours of paprika, turmeric, sumac and herbs sit flush in the worktop like a painter's palette, each under its own clear lid, and every spice is weighed to order on the right side.
The island stays at 110 cm so it never blocks the view across the concourse. Two indigo towers of 60 × 15 × 210 cm stand at the back corners and show the brand to both the front and the back, and the logo band runs around all four sides.
Deep indigo and brass let the spice colours glow. The lids keep the spices clean and fresh, and the staff wash their hands at a sink in the back cabinet.
Manufacturing and materials
- Body: 18 mm MDF, deep indigo matte lacquer, inlaid brass-finish aluminium line.
- Worktop: 20 mm dark sintered stone with brass-finish edge profile; 24 food-grade stainless bins with brass-finish rims.
- Sneeze guards: 24 individual 6 mm clear acrylic lids on stainless hinges, flush when closed.
- Tin window: 8 mm tempered glass, LED lighting, lockable service door from the staff side.
- Scale: legal-for-trade retail scale built flush into the worktop.
- Hygiene: stainless hand-wash sink with instant water heater; fresh-water and sealed waste tanks; spice-dust-proof sealed drawers for stock.
- Towers: steel box frame, indigo lacquered MDF with brass edge profiles, printed colour-band panels.
Final dimensions are confirmed by on-site measurement before production. Mall height limits, electrical supply and fire regulations are checked with the centre’s technical office at project stage.
