The story
HOPLINGS sells shoes for children, from the very first steps to the school playground, and always measures the foot before it sells a pair. The stand is a bright yellow-and-teal square in the middle of the mall that children spot before their parents do.
Every side of the island has its own role. The front is a three-step display of shoes at a child's eye level, the left side is a low bench with a measuring board for fitting, the right side is a small showcase of soft baby shoes, and the back is the payment counter. The yellow crown stays within the 220 cm limit and repeats the name on all four sides.
Light maple, rounded edges and a playful footprints-over-hills illustration make it feel friendly and safe for small visitors.
Manufacturing and materials
- Displays and counters: 18 mm maple-faced plywood, all edges rounded (R 10 mm), water-based child-safe lacquer.
- Columns: Ø 120 mm steel tubes, cloud-white powder coat.
- Crown: 20 × 18 cm aluminium section, sunflower-yellow lacquer, teal acrylic letters.
- Bench: solid maple at 35 cm child height, teal wipe-clean cushion.
- Showcase: 8 mm tempered glass top with lock, 3500K LED.

- Safety: no sharp corners, low-VOC finishes, shatter-proof acrylic mirror.
Final dimensions are confirmed by on-site measurement before production. Mall height limits, electrical supply and fire regulations are checked with the centre’s technical office at project stage.
