The story
KOKOVA sells the simplest drink there is: a young coconut, opened in front of the customer and served with a straw. The front of the stand is a bed of crushed ice with sixteen green coconuts lined up under glass, and the opening machine works on a low shelf behind the counter.
The stand stays at the 110 cm counter height, with one palm-green tower of 60 × 15 × 210 cm at the back corner. Its back faces the balcony railing and holds the coconut stock, a waste bin for the shells and the hand-wash sink, and the right side has a cooler of bottled coconut water for customers in a hurry.
Palm green, coconut brown and lagoon turquoise bring a small tropical beach to the gallery floor.
Manufacturing and materials
- Body: 18 mm moisture-resistant MDF, coconut-brown lacquer; CNC-milled palm-leaf relief.
- Worktop: 12 mm white solid-surface, food-safe.
- Ice-bed display: refrigerated stainless ice bed with drain, under a hinged 6 mm tempered-glass sneeze-guard lid flush with the worktop.
- Equipment: electric coconut-opening punch machine and blender on a stainless 70 cm work shelf.
- Bottle cooler: under-counter glass-door cooler (+3 °C) with side ventilation.
- Hygiene: stainless hand-wash sink with hot water, fresh-water and grey-water tanks in the back cabinet; lidded shell waste bin.
- Tower: steel frame, palm-green lacquered MDF, printed acrylic illustration.
Final dimensions are confirmed by on-site measurement before production. Mall height limits, electrical supply and fire regulations are checked with the centre’s technical office at project stage.
