The story
LAYERLY makes personalised gifts on a 3D printer: a mini figurine of a customer's pet, a desk lamp shaped like a skyline, a planter in the recipient's favourite colour. The stand shows the whole process, from a scan on the right to two printers working behind glass in the front counter, to the finished gifts on the shelves.
Because it stands against a mall wall, the back is a tall white unit with closed cupboards below and open shelves above. The two slim front columns and the 20 cm crown keep the stand within the 220 cm limit and show the brand to all three customer sides.
White, graphite and small touches of coral and mint let the colourful prints stand out, and the logo's striped letters echo the layers of a 3D print.
Manufacturing and materials
- Wall unit: 18 mm white melamine board on a steel sub-frame fixed to the mall wall; graphite HPL doors; 4000K LED under each shelf.
- Counters: 18 mm MDF, white matte lacquer; graphite compact-laminate tops.
- Printer cabinets: 6 mm tempered glass doors, extraction fan with carbon filter, fire-retardant lining.
- Columns: Ø 100 mm steel tubes, graphite powder coat.
- Crown: 20 × 15 cm aluminium section, white; graphite acrylic letters with engraved line texture.
- Scanning station: motorised turntable, tablet on a lockable stand.
- Services: 16 A power line, network cable for the printers.
Final dimensions are confirmed by on-site measurement before production. Mall height limits, electrical supply and fire regulations are checked with the centre’s technical office at project stage.
