The story
PURPALM brings a Brazilian beach bar to the concourse. Frozen açaí is scooped into a bowl on the front side and topped in front of the customer with banana, berries, granola and coconut, while smoothies are blended on the left and ready bowls wait in the case on the right.
The island is open on all four sides and the purple crown shows PURPALM on every one of them. The crown is 20 cm high and the stand stays within the 220 cm mall limit on four slim green columns, so it stays light and open.
Food safety is built in: a curved sneeze guard over the toppings, enclosed blenders, a jug rinser, refrigerated and frozen wells, and a hand-wash sink for the staff on the back side.
Manufacturing and materials
- Counters: 18 mm moisture-resistant MDF, deep purple lacquer; CNC-milled palm-leaf relief in green lacquer.
- Worktops: 12 mm white solid-surface, food-safe, seamless, with thermoformed wells.
- Toppings bar: refrigerated 10 × GN 1/6 well at +4 °C and 2 frozen açaí wells at -18 °C; 8 mm curved tempered-glass sneeze guard.
- Smoothie station: 3 commercial blenders in acoustic polycarbonate enclosures; stainless jug rinser with drain.
- Grab-and-go case: built-in refrigerated glass-front case, 2 shelves, LED lighting, vented through the counter side.
- Hygiene: stainless hand-wash sink with instant water heater; water and drain through the mall floor box.
- Columns and crown: Ø 100 mm steel tubes in green powder coat; 20 × 16 cm aluminium crown in purple lacquer with white acrylic letters; 32 A power line through a column.
Final dimensions are confirmed by on-site measurement before production. Mall height limits, electrical supply and fire regulations are checked with the centre’s technical office at project stage.
