The story
TIPTEN is a walk-in nail bar for shoppers who have forty minutes and want to leave with fresh nails. The stand is a small open salon in the middle of the concourse: two manicure tables at the front, a wall of colour at the back and the plum crown with the logo on every side.
Both manicure stations, with their customer and technician stools, sit inside the 360 × 260 cm footprint on a raised white platform, so the service never spills into the walkway. The crown is 20 cm high and the stand stays within the 220 cm mall limit, and slim gold columns keep it open and airy.
The back retail counter lets passers-by choose a shade from sixty bottles, and the left side works as a soft advertising panel with a large image of freshly done nails.
Manufacturing and materials
- Platform: 18 mm plywood deck on adjustable steel feet, white high-gloss laminate top, coral LED edge line.
- Manicure tables: 18 mm MDF in white high-gloss lacquer, chemical-resistant solid-surface tops, built-in power for the nail lamps and a dust-extraction vent.
- Stools: plum faux-leather upholstery, easy-clean and solvent-resistant; white technician stools on gas lifts.
- Counters: 18 mm MDF, plum and white lacquer; polish rack in 5 mm clear acrylic.
- Showcase: 8 mm tempered glass top with lockable sliding panels, 4000K LED.
- Columns and crown: Ø 100 mm steel tubes with brushed-gold PVD finish; 20 × 16 cm aluminium crown section in plum lacquer with white acrylic letters.
- Ventilation: extraction ducts through the platform to protect staff and neighbouring shops from solvent smell.
Final dimensions are confirmed by on-site measurement before production. Mall height limits, electrical supply and fire regulations are checked with the centre’s technical office at project stage.
