The story
TERRIVA sells the soft things that wait for you after a shower: heavy cotton towels, hooded bathrobes and spa slippers. The stand sits at the gallery balcony and borrows its colours from a spa: seafoam, white and a touch of coral. Its counter faces are ribbed like terry cloth.
Nothing on the stand rises above the 110 cm counter apart from a single slim tower of 60 × 15 × 210 cm. The towels lie rolled under a flush glass top, the bathrobes are folded into cubbies in the side of the counter, and the tower carries one robe behind glass as a sign that can be seen from the floors below.
The right side has three swatch trays so customers can feel the difference between towel weights before they choose. All the stock sits in the closed cabinet towards the railing.
Manufacturing and materials
- Body: 18 mm moisture-resistant MDF, seafoam matte lacquer, CNC-routed horizontal ribs (6 mm).
- Worktop: 12 mm white solid-surface on a 30 mm substrate, thermoformed rounded edge.
- Towel showcase: 10 mm laminated glass lid, flush with the worktop, gas struts and lock; 4000K LED inside.
- Cubbies: white HPL-lined compartments with rounded front edges.
- Tower: steel frame clad in white lacquered MDF; 6 mm acrylic front on the robe recess; seafoam aluminium edge profile.
- Back cabinet: white HPL carcass with sliding doors, lockable.
- Base: adjustable steel feet, driftwood-grey plinth, IP65 warm-white LED.
Final dimensions are confirmed by on-site measurement before production. Mall height limits, electrical supply and fire regulations are checked with the centre’s technical office at project stage.
