The story
ZIPPA builds a small electric car for people who park on narrow streets and charge at home. The best advertising for it is the car itself, so the stand is simply a clean low platform with the car in the middle, its door open and ready for someone to sit in.
Because the car is the hero, there is no crown and no roof. The car is 150 cm high and nothing else rises above the 110 cm counter line except one slim graphite tower of 60 × 15 × 210 cm, which carries the logo towards the escalators. The info counter at the back takes test-drive bookings, and the charger on the left plinth shows how simple charging at home is.
Lime green, graphite and white keep the look electric and urban, and the lime LED line around the platform frames the car like a spotlight on the mall floor.
Manufacturing and materials
- Platform: steel joist frame with 18 mm plywood deck, rated for a 1,200 kg vehicle with a safety margin; light-grey vinyl floor finish.
- Edges: graphite powder-coated aluminium fascia with an IP65 lime LED line; ramp section at the front for rolling the car on.
- Car protection: wheel chocks hidden under the platform finish, drip tray and battery isolation according to the mall's vehicle rules.
- Counter and plinth: 18 mm MDF, white lacquer, lime lacquered band, graphite acrylic letters.
- Tower: steel frame clad in graphite lacquered MDF, bolted through the platform; printed acrylic skyline panels.
- Charger display: real wall-box unit mounted on a steel stand, disconnected from mains, cable secured.
- Services: 16 A power line for the lighting and tablet, routed under the platform deck.
Final dimensions are confirmed by on-site measurement before production. Mall height limits, electrical supply and fire regulations are checked with the centre’s technical office at project stage.
