The story
BOBBLO makes Hong Kong egg waffles: a sheet of little golden bubbles, crisp outside and soft inside, rolled while still warm into a cone and filled with ice cream, fruit and sauce. It is a dessert people photograph before they eat, and the stand is designed to look the same way, soft and round in lilac and butter yellow.
The three waffle irons work at the back of the stand, facing the customers across the counter, under a small recirculating hood. The back faces the balcony railing and holds the storage and a hand-wash sink. The front shows every topping under glass, and the crown, 20 cm high and within the 220 cm limit, carries the name to the three open sides.
Manufacturing and materials
- Body: 18 mm MDF, lilac and butter-yellow lacquer; CNC-milled round bubble relief on the front face.
- Cooking: three 1.4 kW electric egg-waffle irons with rotating plates; batter dispenser with portion control.
- Extraction: compact stainless hood with grease and activated-carbon filters, recirculating; no frying on the stand.
- Topping showcase: refrigerated 12-pan well (+3 °C) with a 6 mm tempered-glass sneeze guard; ice cream kept in a closed freezer drawer under the counter.
- Hygiene: stainless hand-wash sink with hot water; fresh-water and grey-water tanks in the back cabinet.
- Columns and crown: Ø 100 mm white powder-coated steel tubes; 20 × 15 cm aluminium crown in lilac lacquer with white acrylic letters.
Final dimensions are confirmed by on-site measurement before production. Mall height limits, electrical supply and fire regulations are checked with the centre’s technical office at project stage.
