The story
CRUNCHU sells the Korean street snack that took over social media: a sausage or a stick of mozzarella dipped in batter, rolled in crunchy coating, fried golden and dusted with sugar. The stand is loud on purpose, in electric yellow and hot pink, with a honeycomb pattern that looks like the crunch itself.
Two fryers in a mall mean the kitchen is taken seriously. Both are enclosed and lidded and sit in the middle of the island under a recirculating hood with an automatic fire-suppression system, and a hand-wash sink stands at the staff entrance. A hidden beam inside the 20 cm crown carries the hood, and the stand stays within 220 cm overall.
Twelve finished corn dogs stand in a row under glass at the front, and the logo is on all four sides of the crown.
Manufacturing and materials
- Body: 18 mm moisture-resistant MDF, yellow and pink high-gloss lacquer; CNC-milled black honeycomb relief.
- Cooking block: AISI 304 stainless steel; two enclosed 10-litre electric fryers with lids and built-in oil filtration.
- Extraction: stainless hood with baffle filters, electrostatic precipitator and activated carbon, recirculating, hung from a 60 × 40 mm steel cross-beam in the crown.
- Fire safety: automatic wet-chemical fire-suppression system over both fryers, manual pull station, K-class extinguisher.
- Display: heated holding display with upright stick holders and a 6 mm tempered-glass sneeze-guard hood.
- Hygiene: stainless hand-wash sink with hot water; fresh-water and grey-water tanks or mall connection through the plinth.
- Columns and crown: Ø 120 mm pink powder-coated steel tubes; 20 × 18 cm aluminium crown in yellow lacquer with black acrylic letters.
Final dimensions are confirmed by on-site measurement before production. Mall height limits, electrical supply and fire regulations are checked with the centre’s technical office at project stage.
