The story
CHUNKORA bakes thick, soft-centred cookies all day long, right inside the stand, so the corridor around it smells of butter and chocolate. The front is a warm display of thirty cookies on three tiers, and the left side sells cold milk in glass bottles to go with them.
The oven is built into the back counter below the worktop and has its own recirculating filter, so there is no hood and nothing above the 110 cm line except two caramel towers on opposite corners. The staff enter through a gate at the back, next to the hand-wash sink and the cooling racks.
Chocolate brown with a caramel drip along the top edge and a cream band for the brand makes the stand look good enough to eat.
Manufacturing and materials
- Counter body: 18 mm MDF, chocolate-brown lacquer; CNC-cut caramel drip edge in lacquered MDF.
- Worktop: 12 mm cream solid-surface on a 30 mm substrate, food-safe.
- Cookie display: heated display case (+45 °C) with 8 mm sloped tempered glass and flush glass top, 3000K LED.
- Oven: built-in ventless electric convection oven (6 trays) with integrated recirculating grease and odour filter.
- Milk cooler: under-counter glass-door cooler (+3 °C) with side ventilation.
- Hygiene: stainless hand-wash sink with hot water, fresh-water and grey-water tanks or mall connection through the plinth.
- Towers: steel frame, caramel lacquered MDF, printed acrylic illustration panels.
Final dimensions are confirmed by on-site measurement before production. Mall height limits, electrical supply and fire regulations are checked with the centre’s technical office at project stage.
